Joshua Reed

Josh Reed is a trumpet player living in the Boulder, CO area and working on a doctoral degree in Jazz Studies at CU Boulder. He is an affiliate faculty member at Metropolitan State University in Denver and holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and James Madison University. During the last decade he has worked as a professional musician and has performed with Dave Douglas, Art Lande, Paquito D'Rivera, Rufus Reid, Darlene Love, Omar Thomas, Victor Bailey, and numerous others. He recorded with Snoop Dogg, on Rhythm & Gangsta: The Masterpiece, as well as Toots and the Maytals, The Omar Thomas Large Ensemble, Paa Kow's By All Means Band, and for Matt Smiley's Quartet Art.
