Saxophonist Anisha Rush is based in Boulder, CO and will receive a dual-degree in both Jazz Studies and Psychology in May of 2016. Her debut album, to be released in 2016, will include a number of originals as well as her take on a few standards. Anisha looks forward to using this new album, funded in part by Pathways To Jazz, as a platform to destigmatize mental health. She will host a benefit concert to create a community discussion about how to support those with a mental diagnosis.
